Miss Monroe is a 20-year-old sophomore at Penn State University. She's majoring in Political Science as well as pursuing her Smeal Business Certificate. She started this company as a movement. For years, people of color have been frowned upon by society. They're often told they need to find ways to tame their hair and that they're not beautiful. Miss Monroe started this company as a way to impact lives. And to make a significant change in the beauty industry. Miss Monroe Collection caters to people of color. Specifically to help empower people to feel comfortable embracing their natural hair because your hair is your crown.
